How is an address actually checked?
We resolve the domain, find its mail servers, and open an SMTP conversation to ask whether the mailbox exists, then hang up before anything is delivered. Nothing on your list ever receives mail from us.
What is the Thrive Score?
One number out of 100 for the whole list. Healthy addresses count in full, risky ones count half, and dead ones count zero, so the score reflects how safe the list is to send to today.
Will this help my emails reach the inbox?
Yes. Bounces and traps are the fastest way to wreck a sender reputation, and reputation is what decides inbox versus spam. Clean the list and the whole list lands better.
Do you charge for results you could not determine?
No. When a server will not answer, the address comes back pending, is requeued, and is never billed.
Can I verify at signup instead of in batches?
